Yes, the software allows for any auxiliary heat sources for both heating and hot water. 

You will need to enter the specific information about the back-up heating system such as the efficiency and the cost per unit of fuel for that heat source. For example: An Oil Boiler that has an efficiency of 89% and the  pence per kWh of fuel, e.g. 6.9p.
